I’m a dirty girl

At first I felt weird about paying someone to clean my apartment. Now I can’t imagine life without her. Recommended by a good friend, and 3 visits later, I’m sold.

I admit it, I’m a bit of a piggy. Not the kind of mess you’d notice, but the serious scrubbing and big time dusting stuff, I dread doing it. I’ve got shelves of books and tiny collectibles I had never cleaned. And never would have.

She took care of all that yesterday. But it had been 2 months since her last visit, it was bad. Let’s just say, no one should have gone in my shower. So of course I became one of those freaks who cleans up before the professional. I was embarrassed for her to see how I had let things go.

I know she needs the work, so of course I’ve recommended her to friends. Seems it’s one of those expenses lots of people are cutting back on. So many other luxuries I’m willing to give up, not my monthly Vicki.

Hip hip hooray, it’s Vicki’s day! Always the best day to come home of the month. :)

I thought your place always looked so nice because you liked to clean!

i’m all for cutting back on the nice to haves but a good cleaning from someone besides yourself is wonderful and sometimes a necessity. it’s one of the best feelings, walking thru the door after the “Vicky” has been there….ah…it’s been months since my Candy has come and scrubbed. Gonna go call her now.

kitten! i’m all about having someone come in and clean up after me. ours was on “vacation” the week before, and i wasn’t too thrilled about having to do it myself. sad thing is, since i’m “working from home” there’s really no excuse to do a little here, a little there. now we’re back from a few days up in cambria (don’t be jeal!) and into a nicely cleaned house since wednesdays are dante days! guilty pleasure? necessary expenditure in my book!
